Another Holt experience!

Rather than name the squad it may be more revealing the names of those that were unable to play due to injuries and other commitments: Jack A, Ben S, Josh, Ben F, Matt, Jon, Luke, Tom C and Morgan.

The good news is that with this number of cry-offs we would have had to cancel the fixture in the past - but due to our unprecedented squad size at the moment, we were still able to take a full team. The bad news is that we were missing nine key players and Wymondham ran out their A team. They clearly decided to keep their A team on the pitch even when the score was unassailable. Suffice to say that they scored five unanswered tries in the first half and seven in the second.

We play Wymondham again on 14th April and I suggest we give them the same treatment we gave Holt on their return fixture last season. We'll just put last Sunday down to experience - and move on!
