They put a 1-4 defeat by a well drilled Wymondham team in their first match behind them, to beat Norwich 4-0 and a combined Lowestoft and Yarmouth and Beccles side 4-1 in their remaining pool stage matches.

They then triumphed over North Walsham 4-2 in the plate final. Excellent finishing by Charlie Delaney and newcomer Jake Sewell was complimented by the versatility of James Temple who played in various positions from prop, scrum half to inside centre: all very effectively.

However to pick out individuals is somewhat invidious given the best-ever performances by a number of other players in the squad.
