We have assigned your first coach (assuming his flight does not go missing over the Indian ocean). His name is Rhys Connell, he is a Kiwi, 40 years of age and will have just finished his level 3 NZ coaching certificate. Rhys has been coaching children for the past 15 years, he also coaches the Taranaki representative sides (Taranaki is one of their provinces which feeds into their Super 14 comp). He is a darn good chap and is chomping at the bit to get over here and get stuck in.

As we assign more coaches we will let you know.

Additional news, we have arranged for the local radio station to come down to the course during the week of the course. I am hoping they will interview a few of the kids and maybe record them performing the Haka. This is currently planned for the Thursday.

Numbers are going very well at the moment. It is going to be a great week.
