Southwold sent two mixed U13 teams to the Ipswich Rio Sevens tournament on Saturday, and came close to having an all Wold final! The two squads played a total of ten matches, and only lost one!

At the end of a sizzling Sevens Southwold came through a tense and physical match with Norwich to win the Cup. The other Southwold team defeated Bury 1s with a comfortable score to win the Plate.

A great way to end the season with Silverware, particularly impressive after the Chinese buffet at the Youth Awards Night the previous evening!

Meanwhile, our Colts played five different teams including a Suffolk RFU squad who romped the tournament. We were runners-up and the highest rated club team winning The Plate.
