Bad weather does not take shine off strong U16 display

On a cold, wet and windy day, the U16`s travelled to Norwich for a friendly fixture. The conditions didn't help with the handling and long passes saw the ball move away from the hands, despite this Wold started strongly and Charlie soon scored the first try, which Jesse converted. Raife scored the next as he powered over with Jesse adding two more, Jesse converted two of these and the lead was quickly 26-0. Further tries were scored by Sav, Freddie L , Callum and Fred P. Jesse converting a further two. Norwich replied with a penalty and a try to make it 50-8 final score. Credit to both teams to play in such atrocious conditions. Norwich scrummed well kept going right to the end and should take credit from this. A fine performance from wold as they didnt let the weather win. The whole team was solid and played some lovely rugby.
