the boys took a while to get going at the RIO Festival in Ipswich. There first game was against Rushden and the slow start we have seen in a few games this season didn't help us and we lost 38:0. Once we had got it into our heads that in 7's there's no time to waste our next game against Hadleigh saw us playing the game how it should be played the whole team moving the ball well and we went on to win 26:5.
Our final group match was against Cambridge, both sides were well matched and some excellent rugby followed. this was a close game and we went on to win 31:21. This gave us a semi final match against Ely which we unfortunately lost 40:7 (Ely went on to win the tornament).
