Tried but not enough!

With a few more players this week (11) against Stowmarkets 13, hence a 12 aside game took place.

From the kick off Southwold struggled at ruck and scrum, against a larger and heavier weight pack, this was the pattern of the day and possession was hard to come by.

Charles, Tom Wise and Lucas all tackled well and with the rest of team never gave up.

The final score was 5 - 51 to Stowmarket, Charles being our scorer.

Southwold can take a lot from this game knowing that if tackles are made more consistently and give a higher degree of concentration in the opponents half, will show better results in the future.

Also having a new member of our team Sam Roffey who has shown great promise and the return of Lucas after injury and Sammy Smith who's missed a couple of weeks this year hopefully things will look up.
