Southwold U9s v Hadleigh U9s

This return fixture saw a much improved Hadleigh side come to Southwold looking for revenge after a one sided affair at Hadleigh earlier in the season. The coaches agreed on two shorter matches and Hadleigh went off quickly with an early try. A period of consolidation saw Southwold tackling hard and spreading the ball wide to find room for Renee to exploit the gaps with two tries and a typically bullocking run from Charlie. The second half saw more of the same. An early try from Hadleigh was responded to by tries from Renee, Charlie and Dylan. Hadleigh scored a consolation try in the last few seconds of the match. Great tackling and defending from the whole team.

The second match allowed Hadleigh to field some reserves however normal service was resumed by the Southwold boys who had really started to flow. Tries from Charlie, Freddie and Renee supplemented a fantastic individual try by Will. Given the ball from a penalty to Southwold, Will burst through three tackles and ran two thirds the length of the pitch. He takes some stopping when he's on a roll!!
